The breakfast was excellent freshly cooked and savoury with local products and the food was fabulous! The rooms were beautifully decorated and absolutely fabulous, included a flat screen TV, a dining area and ironing facilities.

We had an enjoyable stay for three nights. The B&B has a magnificent setting, very close to central Hawkshead. They have a private carpark to the rear of the property, which is very convenient. The location is perfect for visiting all the local towns, lakes, and Windermere as well as other neighboring lakes. The proximity to The Fitzwilliam Gallery was very convenient.

The property was extremely comfy with amiable staff. The hotel was next to the lake's, and Windermere / Ambleside. Plus it was max 10 mins walk to the lake. We truly enjoyed substantial and superb breakfast.

I recently stayed at a lovely B&B in the Lake District, surrounded by beautiful gardens that I can imagine will be breathtaking in the summer. The hotel offered great value for money, with prices that were very reasonable for the area. The attention to detail was impeccable, with rooms that had a nice view of the garden and nice en suite facilities. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived to when we checked out. The hotel's location was perfect, right in the heart of the Lake District, allowing us easy access to explore the stunning surrounding areas. The breakfast served was fantastic, with delicious local products that added to the overall charm of the hotel.

Convenient Location and Nearby Attractions 🌳
This place is right in the middle of the lake's area, and it's super close to some awesome hiking spots. Plus, Windermere and other lakes are just a stone's throw away. And if you're into shopping, grabbing a coffee, or hitting the pub, there's plenty of places around here to check out.
